A man who got in a fight Monday was stripped of his jacket, which was set on fire in the street.

Just before 3:30 p.m., a 28-year-old man told deputies he had been involved in a fight on the 2900 block of Dahlia Drive that started with words and escalated to punches, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s report.

The man told deputies during the fight, his black and grey jacket was stripped off of his back and set on fire in the middle of Dahlia Drive, the report said.
