Two teenagers were arrested Monday in connection with last week’s fatal shooting of Demetrius Moore at River Glen Apartments.

Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser said Rayshawn Migeal Ward, 16, of the 2400 block of Damascus Road, and Demariye Vontrell Glover, 17, of the 500 block of Fairhope Street, were taken to the Richmond County jail Monday. Ward is charged with murder and Glover is charged with murder, criminal attempt armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Both were charged as adults.

About 11 p.m. Nov. 13, Moore, 21, was shot during a suspected robbery at 201 E. Telfair apartment complex, Dresser said.

It was the third homicide this year at River Glen.

HMMMM

They are being charged as adults. I really really hate that term, they were feeling all adult when they did it, so the somebody's baby mess is out the door. They should add a charge which adds time to the other crimes as follows: You are under 21 and comitted a gun crime that of course was senseless and violent. 10 should be added just for that , if for nothing else but the pure stupidity and being under age! I can bet you niether are mentally challenged, so in fact knew this was wrong! And where is the unlawful possession of a firearm charge, was he not 17? Yeah that old time out stuff works really well.
Before anybody states anything on the level of where they are from, you do not have to be a knuckle head just because of your area.

Gun Laws at work

When is America going to learn GUN LAWS have NO impacted on criminals. They only impact honest people that would shoot criminals in the act?

Sometimes I wonder if lawyers put the laws on the books to guarantee themselves defense work?

In case it slipped past a few of you liberal ANTI-GUN people.
They arrested 2 under age Teens, neither of which could legally own a firearm.

BOB crime

Yet another example of the rampant Black on Black crime. Sad to see people preying on one another like this.

Adding an automatic 10 years for commission of a crime while armed with a gun is something I've advocated for years. Maybe an automatic 3 to 5 for carrying without a permit.

Another thing, when they build these new welfare complexes, put a fence around them and a gate to keep outsiders like these cretins out. You need a pass key/card to get through the gate, and again to enter the building. (if it is attached apartments) Then, if a crime is committed by someone a resident lets in, the resident is kicked out.

Do that and watch crime plummet in those areas. Well worth the investment IMO.

The management team doesn't
Unpublished

The management team doesn't care about the residents of Rivet Glen. If they did, they would have implemented serious security by now. There are two LEOS stationed on 4and Bar Ferry road 24 7, yet people are still being shot.

The management team is PARTLY to blame.

You can't stop crime

You can't stop every crime, but you can get rid of the criminals! Lock 'em up FOREVER! And put 'em to work earning their keep!
Looks like the liberal philosophy that endorses this cultural diversity has claimed two more winners! This kind of culture needs to be called what it is. Unacceptible!

I've Said It Before

Leave the BOB alone. They will solve their own problem faster than all the effort and money spent over the many years. It only has gotten worst since outsiders have got involved. Do not interfere with their cultural freedom.

Same Convo after all this time

Crime is the issue. Most people are killed by people of the same race simply because of demographics. It's the motive behind why one would bring that up that's the red flag. All I can say is will that same person think white on white crime when they see a report about a white dude gunning down 8 people he didn't know? The issue is poverty, education and crime in urban areas. Education is the key and a way out.
