Burglars broke into two cars in the same area Sunday.

Just after 4 p.m., Mohandas Mohammed Martin, 43, of Hephzibah, told Richmond County deputies someone had shattered the driver’s door window of his 2004 GMC Yukon in the 2700 block of Washington Road. Less than 15 minutes later, Alan Shipman Walters, 51, of Augusta, reported that someone had broken the right front window of his 2009 Chevrolet Impala in the 1400 block of Eisenhower Drive.

Nothing was taken from either vehicle.

A Unrelated reminder

The official Re-gifting Shopping season starts Nov 23rd, 2012.
If you wish to donate to this annual cause, just park in a dark busy parking lot and leave your newly purchased gifts in the plain sights in the car.

Note: This year the American 2nd Chance Re-Gifting Assoc. has gone GREEN, to save trees. Please don't Gift wrapping the items ahead of time.

Special Request:
Remember to leave the receipt with the items so them can exchange them. Many times last year the donators purchased sizes and models that did not match the needs of their girlfriends and kids and/or the family had too many of already.

This has been a Richmond Co. Sheriffs Social Club, 2nd Chance Program
