Indictment charges child molestation, porn

William Connor Jackson Jr. was indicted this week on child molestation charges and 54 counts of possession of child pornography.

The indictment accuses Jackson of molesting two girls under the age of 16 between August 2008 and June 30, 2011, and charges him with three counts of child molestation and one count criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation.

He is also charged with 54 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor for possessing a “visual medium” depicting a minor engaged in “sexually explicit conduct.” Those charges all stem from July 18, 2012.

Also this week, Leonard Sapp was indicted on 12 charges related to a Harrisburg kidnapping on Sept. 26. Investigators said Sapp pointed a knife at a 19-year-old woman and forced her into her vehicle as she pumped gas at the Kangaroo station on Jones Street. The woman eventually escaped with her 2-year-old daughter.

Sapp is charged with felonies including hijacking a motor vehicle; kidnapping with bodily injury; criminal attempt to commit rape; two counts of possession of a knife during the commission of a crime; and kidnapping. He also faces misdemeanor driving offenses, including driving under the influence.
