At least one person was shot Monday night in Harrisburg, authorities said.
Around 9 p.m., police were called to the 1900 block of Pearl Avenue and found a woman with a gunshot wound. She was taken by ambulance to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, authorities said.
Deputies said the shooter was described as a black man, dressed in all black. Police used tracking dogs to search for him around Chaffee Park.

Since this park is really now the Kroc Center, why not just say that or is that a no-no.
Isn't this somewhere around the 2nd shooting at or around the Kroc Center? Didn't a young guy get "shot in the buttocks" (in the words of Forrest Gump) a while back???
The Kroc Center is a large complex, and Chaffee Park is a grassy field.
All of the crime in Harrisburg is located near the Kroc Center.
Places like East Augusta and Harrisburg have much different demographics compared to the real downtown. There's around 5 restaurants underway in the CBD, and East Augusta/Harrisburg can't support that.
Well now thats all cleared up ,thanks countyman.I now understand why the rest of richmond county needs to send all revenues downtown.
