Store robbed on Highland Avenue; 2 in custody

Two people are in custody after an armed robbery Sunday night at OK Pantry on Highland Avenue.

About 6 p.m., Richmond County deputies were called to the store at 502 Highland Avenue. Witnesses told deputies two men fled in a dark blue PT Cruiser, authorities said.

Shortly after the incident, the car was spotted on Walden Drive, and two men were taken into custody.
