Store robbed on Highland Avenue; 2 in custody

Two people are in custody after an armed robbery Sunday night at OK Pantry on Highland Avenue.

About 6 p.m., Richmond County deputies were called to the store at 502 Highland Avenue. Witnesses told deputies two men fled in a dark blue PT Cruiser, authorities said.

Shortly after the incident, the car was spotted on Walden Drive, and two men were taken into custody.

The OK Pantry was robbed? Say it aint so!

The upside is that there was no shootout and "Bullchicks" was not hit by stray bullets as happened for the "Wife Saver" formerly at this location.
