Man shot on Hicks Street

One person is in the hospital after being shot on the 1700 block of Hicks Street on Friday night.



Around 9:15 p.m., Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Hicks Street and found a man on his patio with a gunshot wound, authorities said.

The alleged shooter was described as a black man, 40- to 50-years-old, wearing dark blue or black coveralls, running east down Hicks Street.
