Woman robbed while delivering pizzas

A 23-year-old Augusta woman was robbed Tuesday evening while delivering pizzas off Boy Scout Road.

According to an incident report, the woman, a Pizza Hut employee, was delivering to an apartment on Boy Scout Court around 5 p.m. when the incident occurred.

She told officer she had knocked on the door several times with no response when a black man in a gray hoodie grabbed her by the hair, stuck a gun to her ear and demanded her belongings.

The victim put her keys, phone, money and the food on the ground. The gunman took the money and food but told her to take her phone and keys and run.

She told deputies she grabbed her keys and ran to the front parking lot, where she flagged down someone who called 911.
