A 70-year-old Trenton, S.C., woman told authorities Wednesday that a man pulled a knife on her and demanded her purse in Olde Town.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s incident report, the woman was sitting in her vehicle near the intersection of Greene and Fourth streets around 3:45 p.m. when a black man walked up to her driver’s side window with a knife and demanded her purse.

The woman told deputies she froze at the request and the man, who was dressed in green and brown camouflage, ran away.

I wish she had shot him. Such

I wish she had shot him. Such a terrible person to do that to a 70 year old or anybody else. I guess that is why I never get picked for jury duty because I would never vote for a conviction of someone protecting themselves.
