Richmond County authorities are investigating a home invasion off Sand Bar Ferry Road on Tuesday evening.

According to an incident report, a 17-year-old was entering his home on Sapelo Circle around 8:30 p.m. when two black men with handguns rushed the door and entered the home.

The teen’s mother, 36, told deputies one man put a gun to her head and demanded money while another man forced the teen into the bathroom.

The mother and her 14-year-old daughter left the home to seek help from neighbors.

A third man was seen in the backyard.

The gunmen, who were wearing black pajama-type pants, white T-shirts and covered their faces with white bandanas, had left by the time deputies arrived.

RCSO has 14 min avg. response times on serious calls.

Which are great considering the area per car covered.

But this is why so many people own guns for self defense also.
A lot can happen, as seen above, in a few minutes.

If the story pans out, expect to see more of these 3.
They are well rehearsed and according to the indications of the story, have a team based task operational responsibility system.

Much like a DOD/DEA breaching team.
