Women shoplift $1,200 of perfume from Ulta Beauty

Four women shoplifted more than $1,200 of perfume from a local cosmetic store, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

A deputy was called to Ulta Beauty in the Augusta Exchange shopping center Tuesday, after an employee noticed 14 bottles of perfume were missing.

The employee told police that the women, who had come into the store the day before, were acting suspiciously.

The thieves took $655 of Chanel perfume, $247 of Gucci perfume, $140 of Burberry perfume, $93 of Vera Wang perfume and $73 of Dolce & Gabbana perfume, according to the report.

The suspects were described as black women, varying in age from 20 to 45. The store gave surveillance video and pictures to police, according to the report.
