In both robberies, elderly men were followed from the Walmart on Deans Bridge Road after purchasing money orders or cashing checks. The robber was seen following the victims into and out of the store, according to a release from Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser.

The man was the passenger in a dark blue mini-van, which looks like a Dodge Caravan, and followed the elderly men home where he demanded money and items at gunpoint.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080 and ask to speak with a Violent Crimes investigator. Callers may remain anonymous.

Robber looks strong and healthy to me

This strapping young man looks healthy enough to work for a living. I guess it's easier robbing old people who worked hard all their lives than to get even an entry level job, which would be demeaning. I think the elderly should be given gun vouchers for Academy Sports and free training too.
