The Millen Department of Public Safety is asking for assistance in locating a truck hauling stolen lawn equipment that may be in the Augusta area.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s news release, the red Ford F-150 crew cab pickup is believed to be involved in a series of thefts in Jenkins County and surrounding areas.

On Oct. 1 the driver of the vehicle made off with a 6-by-12 foot utility trailer with an Exmark zero-turn-radius lawn mower, trimmers, edgers and miscellaneous hand tools from a residence on East Winthrope Avenue in Millen.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Millen Department of Public Safety at (478) 982-2750.
