Desi Orlando Nash, 36, is wanted for questioning in connection with a domestic assault in Aiken.

Desi Orlando Nash, 36, disappeared after police were called to Dupont Drive in Aiken a little before 1 a.m. Friday in connection with a domestic assault, an e-mail from Sgt. Jake Mahoney said.

When police arrived, a woman, who shares three children with Nash, told officers he had asked her to drive him to the store to get beer. When she refused, he held a box cutter to her throat. Eventually, she got home to Dupont Drive where she and Nash continued to fight until the police arrived, according to a police report.

He was last seen running away from the residence.

Anyone with information which may lead to the arrest of Nash is asked to contact the Aiken Department of Public Safety at (803) 642-7620 or contact Crimestoppers at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
