Twin 2-year-old boys escaped harm Friday after a neighbor caught one who fell from an upstairs window and the other was stopped from climbing out after the mother left them home unattended.
According to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser, Loreal Goggins, 26, left the boys at Brandywine apartments, off Boy Scout Road, while she went to donate plasma on Peach Orchard Road.
Goggins told investigators she left the boys sleeping and had tied the door to a banister to keep them from leaving.
Deputies were notified around 5:30 p.m. after neighbors spotted one of the boys dangling from an upstairs window.
Investigators believe that the boys opened the window and pushed out the screen.

The other child was trying to climb out when neighbors worked together to scale the building and get to the window to keep the boy from falling.
Goggins told deputies she was gone from the apartment for about two hours.
She was booked into the Richmond County jail on two counts of second-degree cruelty to children and two counts of deprivation of a minor.
