A man is in jail after leading police on a chase through three counties early Saturday, authorities said.
Chad Michael Solesbee, 28, fled from police in Edgefield County around 4 a.m., authorities said.
After Solesbee sped through Aiken County and into Georgia, going more than 100 mph, Richmond County deputies and Georgia State Patrol officers placed stopsticks in his path on Bobby Jones Expressway, which slowed him enough to get him pulled over on Rosier Road behind Bi-Lo, officers said.
He is being held on charges including felony obstruction of law enforcement and fleeing and attempting to elude, according to jail records.
Deputies said there charges from Edgefield County are pending.
