The clubhouse at a Berckmans Road apartment complex was vandalized over the weekend.

According to a sheriff’s department incident report, the furniture and lamps in the clubhouse in the 400 block of Berckmans Road had been knocked over, black ink covered numerous walls and countertops, and liquid soap had been spread on the walls and windows.

Outside the clubhouse, outdoor furniture, more than 20 rocks, solar powered lawn lights and mailbox keys had been thrown in the pool. Black ink also covered one set of mailboxes.

Officials at the apartment complex told deputies the vandalism occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

The name of the apartment complex was not included in the report.

I used to live in those

I used to live in those apartments..or the ones beside them. At the time, there were 2 seperate apartment complexes, so I'm assuming that's still the case..I don't know. Anyway, the bigger complex has a pool that is overlooked by several apartments..ones that have a great birdseye view, so those tenants might have seen something. The smaller complex has a smaller pool that I don't think is easily watched. But my next question is about the pools themselves.....it's 100 degrees outside and the pool isn't open??? I think that's something that should've been covered in the article, for clarification sake...only because the time of the act is undetermined.
