Richmond County authorities are investigating a break-in Monday at the Boys & Girls Club during which $120 was stolen.
According to a sheriff’s office report, deputies were called to 1903 Division St. after an alarm went off at 1:50 a.m. They found a brick had been thrown through a glass door and a tire iron stuck in the door. Deputies found a cash box on the floor with change scattered around it.
Surveillance video showed a slender black man enter the building and jump the counter. The man, who was wearing a white tank top and blue gym shorts with a T-shirt wrapped over his face, took money from the cash box and ran out a rear door.
