Handle It Old School

In the 1970's the local Sheriff, I think it was Anderson, announced the random placement of RCSO Deputies in convenience stores cool areas to help curtail holdups.

Warning signs went up in most convenience stores notifying potential robbers it was a possible Stakeout location and to obey the orders of the Sheriff Deputy if challenged or be shot.

It only took 1 robbery arrest on the spot and all of a sudden store hold ups in Richmond Co. dropped to a trickle.

Dead to rights, so to speak.

But Old School works.
