A 19-year-old Gloverville, S.C., teen is recovering at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital after being shot in the leg Friday evening, authorities said.
Shawn Doby was on Druid Park Avenue near Central Avenue when he was shot. Richmond County investigators are looking to identify two suspects who fled the scene in a black car, possibly a BMW.
Sgt. Bill Leisey said Saturday that Doby was still in the hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery.
Two weekends, two shootings, but thankfully no deaths. Will next weekend be the third in a row?
