A woman called deputies Tuesday telling them a man sucked her toe at the Grovetown Walmart and told her it was for a TV show.

The 18-year-old said she was shopping when a man, who looked to be in his late 30s or early 40s, walked up and asked if her toenails were painted, according to a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

After replying yes and questioning why he wanted to know, the woman was asked if she’d watched America’s Funniest Home Videos.

The man told her he was with the TV show and if she complied with his requests, everything she purchased that day would be free.

She said she reluctantly agreed to let him take a photo of her foot.

He asked if he could kiss her foot as part of the prank and she agreed.

The man guided her to an area behind a clothing rack, dropped to the floor, grabbed her ankle and told her, “Don’t worry. I don’t bite.”

He then started sucking on her big toe. The woman said she screamed at him to stop.

Before the man ran from the store, he told her, “It tasted so good, though.”

Raunchy

This is what happens to some people when they start eating pig's feet at an early age. I hope this young lady learned a lesson about being duped by a stranger.

I went into the Walmart in

I went into the Walmart in North Augusta last week and took my granddaughter to the restroom only to find a man in there. I asked him what he was doing and his reply was that he did not realize he was in the ladies room..I highly doubt that.

The disturbing thing is that

The disturbing thing is that she was so easily taken in. Predators depend on that; as I recall, Renaldo Rivera trapped his prey with promises of modeling.

I just don't think I would have made that call, but then I also wouldn't have offered my foot or entered into any discussion about it.

I think I would have known I needed to sign something!!!

I know the man was wrong, but really did you think it was real when he wanted to move you behind things? and this was going to be viewed on national TV!!! Sometimes we must think on our own!!!

I know it's wrong to laugh, but this story is funny. Could have turned out much worse.

Y'all a little hard on the

Y'all a little hard on the girl aren't you. She's 18! I can see how she was possibly drawn into the situation. We have so much junk on TV that kids watch and think is real life, I can totally see how she could have been taken in. How would she know that normally you have to sign a release.....all she's thinking about is, dang, I'm going to get everything I purchase today for free.....

What's the saying about the root of evil?

The problem

She's 18, he asked permission, she agreed, and he stopped when she said stop. The problem is he didn't pay for the things she bought, as he had promised. Another dishonest "toe sucker".

Foot fetish...

I know some folks with a foot fetish as a matter of fact alot of men like feet, they find pretty feet sexy, but come on. A complete stranger walks up to you with a story and offering of something free and you just fall for it????? @InChristLove, I think you are being a little easy on her, at 18 she should at least be aware of things that are in the news about serial killer and freaks.....@JMO, you made me laugh......TGIF to all.

Wow!

Two words came to mind when I read this story--creepy and scary..This girl is lucky nothing worse happened, and I hope she uses this as a lesson. This guy, er, perv.'s, actions could be the the makings of a sexual predator, if he isn't already. If he has the guns to do this in a public area, who's to say hasn't done worse in private. Let's just hope he gets caught soon.

Store Cameras

I wonder if the store was able to find this guy on camera? If so they need to plaster his pic on the news and in the paper, the next time it may be a young child that he tries this with, or even worse, he may escalate from sucking toes to kidnap and rape....

she allowed him tro suck on
Unpublished

she allowed him tro suck on her toe because she wanted "free stuff" instead of using common sense and walking away or calling security the ebt/welfare mentality (getting something for nothing) took over so she followed him to a secluded spot and removed her shoe. mind you everyone he didn't force her to go anywhere or remove her shoe...SHE FOLLOWED HIM AND SHE WILLINGLY REMOVED HER SHOE....question: what was the factor the motivated this woman to 1) follow the man to a secluede spot and 2) willingly remove her shoe, 3) let this man suck and kiss her toe and foot......THE OFFER TO GET FREE STUFF!!!!!......nuff said...

I would hate to be the Police Officer who had to write a report about this incident. I don't think I could have done it without being overcome with laughter.

Interesting she continued the

Interesting she continued the conversation after the question about the painted nails.

She says she ..."reluctantly agreed to let him take a photo of her foot, and when he "asked if he could kiss her foot as part of the prank and she agreed."

After all of that, she still allowed him to guide "...her to an area behind a clothing rack..."

She must be a pretty good sport.

Just like JMO said
Unpublished

Really he did nothing illegal, by the law. As weird and creepy as it is, he did nothing illegal. He asked and she complied (no force or rape), he stopped when she said stop (once again no force or rape), so technically he did not break any laws. So what if he said he would pay for her stuff, lying is not a crime or every girl in a club who tells a guy to buy her drinks and she will go home with him would be in jail. This is an instance of a gullible person who needs some lessons in what not to do in the middle of Wal Mart.

Bigclaude's joking has a

Bigclaude's joking has a point regarding open toe shoes. As I recall, they are not allowed to be worn into the State Prison here by female visitors. So, I guess even feet are a problem for some sexual predators.

I really think this generations defenses are lowered by social media. Time to bring back Mama's rule of "Don't talk to strangers!"

I am still laughing at her

I am still laughing at her stupidity. Thank goodness she was not abducted. If the police catch him what will be the charge. I think none because she did it willingly. The thought of something free overcame good judgement. That happens everyday in all advertising. Buy two get one free, buy 5 get two free, extra 20% off if you call today, one call that's all or he supersized my settlement. Anything to entice you to do something you may not do.

stillamazed, yeah she's 18

stillamazed, yeah she's 18 and should be aware of things that are in the news about serial killer and freaks...but come on....this is in the middle of Walmart!!! Think like an 18 year old....a guy just told you he's going to pay for all your stuff, you're in the middle of a public Walmart, all he wants to do is look and then kiss your foot for a dumb funny video, yeah she'll let him...what's the harm....nothing until the guy starts sucking on her toe which freaks her out. She's 18 and as much as we think they should be, and they think they are, most 18 year old girls are not mature enough to prethink of the "what could have happend" consequences.
