Police search for gunman who robbed Family Dollar

Richmond County sheriff’s investigators are searching for the man who robbed a Broad Street business Sunday evening.

Richmond County sheriff's investigators are searching for the man who robbed Family Dollar on Broad Street on Sunday evening.

Sgt. Dan Carrier said a man armed with a handgun entered Family Dollar, 1991 Broad St., shortly before 8 p.m. demanding cash.

He was last seen fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
