A burglar got away with more than $1,000 in jewelry and four firearms from a residence, a Richmond County Sheriff’s report said.

Timothy Wayne McKenzie, of the 1000 block of Magnolia Drive, told police someone broke into his home between June 15 and Sunday while he was away, the report said.

The burglar removed a window screen, unlocked a side door, entered the house and ransacked it.

Among items taken were a pearl necklace, a silver watch and four guns, the report said.

National Hills used to be a

National Hills used to be a fairly safe area. However it's now sandwiched between 2 questionable apartment complexes. Sure wish the Augusta National would buy both of those properties and make parks!
