Around 9:30 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a suspicious person with a gun in the business.
Deputies said one man stayed at the front of the restaurant while the other demanded money from the cashier and fired a shot into the ceiling. There were about 15 customers inside, but no one was injured.
When the cashier could not get the register open, the men fled. They got into a dark vehicle and headed for The Greens Apartments on Washington.
One is described as about 5 feet, 7 inches and 180 pounds, wearing a black shirt and shorts and a black ski mask and carrying a hand gun. The second was wearing a white tank top and beige cargo shorts.
