A soldier’s home was burglarized while she was on military leave, a Richmond County sheriff’s report said.

At 4:16 p.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of David Mill Road. Alicia Marie Brenneis, 27, told them that between June 5 and Saturday, a burglar broke into her home and stole items valued at more than $1,000, including a Wounded Warrior plaque and her combat uniform, the report said.
