Aiken police ask for help finding break-in suspect

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is asking for the public’s help in finding a person wanted for breaking and entering cars.

Charles Jackson, 44, is from Aiken but is known to frequent Augusta as well, according to an e-mail from Cpl. 1st Class Jeremy Hembree.

He is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.

Anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Jackson or the crime he is wanted for can contact Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888) 274-6372. Callers will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward up to $1,000.

Hmmm, mug shot. Can we assume that he is the ward of one of our liberal probation judges or the parole board? 44 years old and still breaking in to cars. Not exactly a fireball at climbing the corporate ladder is he?
