2 sought in laundromat change theft

Richmond County investigators are searching for two men who stole $80 in change from a south Augusta laundromat last week.

Police said the two men entered the Washing Well Coin Laundry, 4286 Windsor Spring Road, on May 29 by prying open the front door. Surveillance video then showed the men breaking into an indoor vending machine and an outdoor air machine, taking a total of $80 in change.

The were seen fleeing the area in a ’90s model red and white Ford F-150.
