Man wanted for armed robbery, kidnapping

Taveus Jerel Fane is wanted out of Richmond County for armed robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer, according to an e-mail from Sheriff's investigator Charles M. Mulherin.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s Office are asking for help finding a wanted robber and kidnapper.

Taveus Jerel Fane is wanted for armed robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer, according to an email from Sheriff’s investigator Charles M. Mulherin.

He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.

Mulherin said Fane has a history of weapons offenses and should be considered armed and dangerous. He is known to frequent the Rosier and Windsor Spring roads area.
