The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Eugene B. Wimby Jr., son of former East Atlanta High School principal Eugene B. Wimby, was indicted Friday by a Fulton County grand jury on 14 counts of theft by taking.
The indictment alleges that the younger Wimby, who had been given power of attorney by his father, failed to disclose Wimby’s death on Sept. 26, 2008 to the Teacher Retirement System of Georgia.
