Escapee back in Richmond County Jail

A prisoner who walked away from his work duty while at the Augusta Transitional Center in December is back in custody, authorities said.

Kevin Gee, 35

Kevin Gee, 35, was serving a 20-year sentence for robbery and criminal interference with government property, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was found in Madison County, where he is from, police said.

He was taken to Richmond County Jail on Tuesday.
