Augusta man robbed in Barton Chapel

A 56-year-old man told deputies two men in ski masks came into his home this morning with guns and threatened to kill him.

According to an incident report, the two unknown gunmen entered the unlocked residence on the 2400 block of Old Barton Chapel Road where Raymond Mays was sleeping.

Police said the men threatened to kill the victim if he didn’t comply with their demands. The men took $82 and a cell phone before fleeing the residence.
