Employee robbed behind Farmers Furniture on Wrightsboro Road

An armed man robbed a Farmers Furniture employee on Wrightsboro Road on Tuesday morning.

According to Richmond County dispatch, the employee was loading a truck in the rear of the business at 3409 Wrightsboro Road about 8:30 a.m. when a man robbed the victim.

The suspect was last seen running through the woods toward Marks Church Road.

He is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, about 6 feet tall, with shoulder-length dreadlocks tied in the back. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans and armed with a black handgun.
