The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in its search for a man who burglarized a Gordon Highway convenience store.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance in its search for a man who burglarized a Gordon Highway convenience store.

The man was spotted on surveillance photos entering Raceway, 2161 Gordon Highway, around 3:45 a.m. March 30.

Investigator Sean Cochran said the man, who had his face covered, tried to take the cash register but was unable to disconnect the cords.

He ran away from the store with an unknown amount of the store’s merchandise.
