Suspect in burglary sought in Waynesboro, Ga.

Jerome Edward Smith, 36, is wanted in connection with at least one burglary in Waynesboro.

The Waynesboro Police Department is asking for help in bringing in a burglary suspect wanted in several counties, authorities said.

Jerome Edward Smith, 35, is wanted in connection with at least one burglary in Waynesboro, Ga., and is wanted in connection with other crimes and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to an e-mail from Chief Alphonzo Williams.

Williams said not to approach Smith, but to notify police immediately if he is spotted.
