Richmond County investigators are searching for the person who has been burglarizing Gordon Highway businesses over the past two weeks.

Investigator Darren Massey said Precision Tune, 1652 Gordon Highway, has been hit at least three times in the last 10 days and Bussey Automotive, 1634 Gordon Highway has been hit twice since Monday.

In both cases, the burglar broke out a glass, stole a power meter, tools, a television and money. Investigators also believe the burglar took food from the businesses.

Investigators believe burglaries at two vacant restaurants -- Eggroll Express, 1642 Gordon Highway, and T-Bonz, 1654 Gordon Highway -- are also related.

Power meters were also removed from the restaurants. Massey said the ceiling of T-Bonz was damaged and wire was removed. Nothing appeared to have been stolen from Eggroll Express.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1020.
