Earlier Wednesday, Dresser said the sheriff’s office considered him a suspect in the beating death of Jermaine Demond Little outside Paul’s IGA, 2 Greene St. Dailey reported to the Law Enforcement Center about 8 p.m. Wednesday and was booked into the Richmond County jail on the murder charge, Dresser said.
Little was beaten Feb. 1 in front of the store and died three days later at Medical College of Georgia Hospital. Little’s injuries were so severe, police at first said he had been shot. Later reports indicated he had been beaten.
