Husband struck with vehicle, dragged, police say

An Augusta man is recovering in the hospital after his wife ran over him with her vehicle Tuesday evening, police said.

According to Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser, Latoya Shanita Bradley, 20, was leaving her husband around 9 p.m. when she struck him with her vehicle and dragged him 68 feet down Prince Drive.

David Lee Bradley, 41, was transported to Medical College of Georgia Hospital where he is being treated for fractures to his spine and hips.

Latoya Bradley has been booked into the Richmond County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and no insurance coverage.

Dresser said police were called to the couple’s home earlier Tuesday after Bradley said her husband had hit her. Injuries observed by the officer did not match the victim’s description of what happened. A report was filed but no action was taken against David Bradley.

Maybe someone closer to his

Maybe someone closer to his age would be a good idea. As someone a few years past 41 I know, understand and appreciate that I don't have much in common with a 20 year old. Who know's what really happened, sort of weird that the police didn't take anybody to jail on the initial response. Normally someone if not everybody goes when they can't determine what happened. But then the jails are full.

Typical male...wants a new, young, energetic model of a wife who will keep life interesting and make him feel young. Well, she certainly proved to be energetic and interesting. I am sure he is feeling every second of his 41 years today.
