Police seek Augusta BP bandit

Richmond County authorities are searching for a man who robbed the BP on 4101 Windsor Spring Road on Monday night.

According to Sgt. Dan Carrier, a man entered the store around 9 p.m., lifted his shirt to show a gun tucked in his pants and demanded money. The gunman fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 and about 180-210 pounds. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a gray shirt, gray hat with a black emblem, blue jeans and a blue jacket.
