A grand jury returned an indictment Tuesday against David Joseph Kimble that accuses him of shooting Reginald Jerome McGee on Dec. 7.
The aggravated assault charge is in addition to the other three charges against Kimble: possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, criminal damage to property in the second degree and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Jurors this week also brought an indictment against Charlie Henry Castillo that charges him with unlawful eavesdropping and surveillance. The indictment says that between Aug. 31 and Nov. 20, Castillo recorded the activities of Sarah Elizabeth Locke with a camera without her consent.
Billy Math Cowart is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine and criminal damage to property in the first degree after he set fire to Room 103 at the Budget Inn Express at 1616 Gordon Highway and damaged two other rooms on Oct. 14, according to an indictment.
