Columbia County authorities are seeking a Martinez man accused of violating the state sex offender law.
Ronald Warren Pate, a 51-year-old convicted sex offender, recently moved from his Merrymont Drive home and failed to register his new address with the sheriff’s office, Capt. Steve Morris said.
Morris said Pate’s whereabouts are unknown and that Pate also is wanted for a probation violation.
Pate is 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 185 pounds.
