Richmond County authorities are searching for a man who threatened to shoot a gas station attendant while making off with two cartons of cigarettes.
According to an incident report, the thief grabbed two cartons of Newports from Circle K, on 602 Scott Nixon Memorial Drive, around 4 a.m. As he fled the scene, he threatened to shoot the 19-year-old clerk if he called the police.
The clerk told officers the man never displayed a gun.
The store estimated the stolen cigarettes were worth $112.
It is time to arm all of the clerks and teach them to shoot to kill.
Have to say that the thing that shocks me the most about this is that 2 cartons of cigarettes cost $112???? Are you kidding me??? Geesh!! Glad I don't smoke!
Kudos to the 19 yr. old working 3rd. shift @ circle K, hang in there pal.
the usual smash and grab of $75 cash robberies will soon be a rarity. criminals will be drawing guns and demanding the clerk to turn on pump #4. they will likely get away with $2000 in fuel.
Hey, the government steals and it's ok. So, of course, the "less fortunate" think it's ok too.
