Richmond County authorities continue their search for a woman they say beat and stabbed her ex-boyfriend Monday evening at Richmond Summit.
Richmond County sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser said Jacqueline Hawthorne, 50, attacked her ex-boyfriend Timothy Wigfall, 51, with a cane and large kitchen knife after she discovered he had tossed her belongings since she moved out of their Broad Street apartment in December.
Investigators said the couple had been together about five years before the recent split.
Wigfall was taken to a hospital with a broken wrist and cut on the head from the cane and two stab wounds to the hand.
Anyone with information on Hawthorne is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080.
They need to close The Richmond Summit. A good place to start cleaning up Downtown Augusta.
Be careful what you ask for, Raul. If they close down Richmond Summit they might move some of the tenants to your neighborhood.
