Yvette Taylor told sheriff’s investigators that she left the apartment in the 300 block of Applecross Drive around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, returning about seven hours later to find Theodore Crew, 63, lying on the bathroom floor.

Columbia County Sheriff’s Capt. Steve Morris said an autopsy on Crew will be performed Sunday morning.

According to the incident report, Taylor said she left the apartment because Crew was speaking “foolishness.” She initially went to a neighbor’s apartment, but then spent the rest of the night at her mother’s apartment, which is in the Applecross apartment complex.

Taylor returned to her apartment at 8 a.m. and called 911 when Crew was found unresponsive in the bathroom.

The report said blood was also found in the living room.

Morris released no other information about the case.

According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Taylor served a 10-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter and released from prison in 2002. The incident entails the shooting death of her brother in 1991 in Richmond County.

Dangerous women, you say.

Dangerous women, you say. It's going to get much worse with both women and juveniles. Neither were meant to carry the loads they are carrying. Another result of the breakdown of the family.
