Investigators continue their search for a man who robbed a Tobacco Road bank Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said the bandit, wearing a white shirt and white hat with a dollar sign on it, approached one of the tellers at Queensborough, 2550 Tobacco Road, around 11:45 a.m. and demanded she hand over the money without dye packs.

The bandit told the teller he had a gun but investigators said there’s no evidence to suggest that he actually had one.

Witnesses told officers he fled the bank on foot with the money in a plastic bag. The amount has not been disclosed.

He was last seen running into a neighborhood on Gibratar Drive. Authorities believe he had a car waiting on him in the neighborhood.
