Richmond County inmate who fled work crew still loose

Police are still searching for a Richmond County Correctional Institution inmate who escaped work detail Monday.

Charles Moore, 24, was working at Westview Cemetary around 8:45 a.m, when he slipped away from guards.

Moore is described as a white male, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with crewcut brown hair and blue eyes.

Georgia Department of Correction records show Moore was serving a 10-year sentence for theft by receiving stolen property and drug charges from Chatham and Bullock counties.

Or the water department myvoice. Wow, those other counties don't mess around with sentencing. If he had been sentenced in RC he would have got 30 days probation.
