Chief Patrick Clayton said Robert Corey Williams Sr., 36, flagged down the driver on Deans Bridge Road around 4:30 pm and asked her to pull into the Dollar General parking lot.

Williams demanded the driver let his child off the bus, but the driver refused because of safety protocol.

Clayton said Williams became irate, punched out the bus window and tried to pull the driver out of the bus.

The driver then called School Safety for assistance and returned to Glenn Hills Elementary.

Clayton said the driver suffered scratches on her upper chest from the attack.

Williams is wanted for terroristic threats and acts, criminal interference with government property and battery of a school official.

There should be a second

There should be a second adult on every school bus. Asking one person to drive a bus, to supervise children a sizeable minority of whom cause trouble on the bus, and to fend off assaultive parents is asking too much of our school bus drivers.

he should be sentenced to

he should be sentenced to life in prison.. Period point blank.. Also I agree with the fact that there should be 2 adults on the school buses so that there would be more protection.. This would've never happened had this rule would've been enforced.

Glad no children were injured

Glad no children were injured or worse in the chaos. And glad the driver will survive.

as you can see his picture is a prison picture, since he is on the run and there is a picture it seems "ole bob" isn't a stranger to the criminal justice system.....hmmmm wonder what "the man" famed him for the first time..because we all know he didn't do anything and he is innocent, that will be his claim once he is caught for this offense.
