According to Special Agent in Charge Mike Ayers, agents were asked to assist Tuesday after the claims were reported to staff Monday evening. The YDC is designed to provide secure care, supervision and treatment services to youth who have been committed to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice for long-term programs.
The 18-year-old victim told YDC staff he was assaulted Saturday.
No further details were released as agents continue their investigation.
