A semiautomatic pistol and three black spray paint guns were stolen from a home in the 1900 block of Starnes Street, off Eve Street in Augusta’s Harrisburg section.

A man discovered the items missing Wednesday afternoon after he said an unknown person broke the lock on a window and climbed inside, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report. The victim said the perpetrator likely knew where the guns were hidden. The burglar left through the front door, which the victim said had been locked.

The spray paint guns were valued at $800 each, and the pistol was worth $350, the report states.
