Jewelry, an Xbox 360 and an Xbox game were stolen from a vehicle at Christmas.

Wanda Renea Thompkins, of the 1800 block of Cottonwood Drive, told deputies her car was broken into between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. Sunday, according to a Richmond County sheriff’s report.

Thompkins said the burglar had tried to pry open the left rear passenger door, which caused the window to break.

The burglar entered the vehicle and took the items from the trunk by pulling down the center arm rest in the back seat.

Officers noticed pry marks around the window edges, the report said.

A gold necklace and bracelet were taken, along with a Michael Jackson Xbox game and a game console.

Unpublished

well first of all NEVER leave items like that in your vehicle. and 2nd you're not a burglar if you're breaking into a car since it's not a residence or a business it's not a burglary. it's theft and you're a thief!
